GAP's mission is accomplished through two areas of focus: the alternative junior and senior high schools and adult basic education.

The Alternative Junior and Senior High Schools
GAP SENIOR HIGH is an accredited, comprehensive diploma program emphasizing the acquisition of strong basic and academic skills as well as development of artistic, cultural, and recreational strengths and interests. A continuum of job readiness, career awareness and post-secondary planning services are provided.
GAP JUNIOR HIGH/EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM is designed to offer young adolescents a safe, structured environment in which to learn and grow. Students take six classes daily and participate in enrichment activities after school; transportation home is provided. ESL and literacy classes are provided.
